Taking a break

I know I have been a slacker with posts. I am working on updating the new camera and my computer! I promise that after the new year we will be back up to daily posts! (I have the daily pics that I will add to an album and post in 1 post :)

Nate Nate's big sister has joined our clan! We are so excited to have her join us! 

Letter J week- Day 1

Today we started talking about the letter J.  We looked around the room for things that start with the letter J. We found jelly, jar, jaguar, jester hat, jump rope, jam, and jelly beans.  We read Jack and the bean stalk and Jumping Jelly Beans. Then we colored a jaguar.

Thanksgiving Week Day 3-The Feast!

We had a GREAT feast! Thank you all for all your yummy dishes!!! 

We had a blast making our handprint Turkeys!

Thanksgiving Week Day 2

Today we colored cornicopias .  They had so much fun "finding" the food that was hiding inside! 

Thanksgiving Week Day 1

Today we started talking about Thanksgiving. We colored Turkeys.

There is a lack of photos (and will continue to be ) :( because my camera has bit the dust. :( I am not sure what happened ... but I will be borrowing a camera for the feast on Wednesday! :) hopefully I will have my new camera in a week or 2 :)

Letter I week -Day 5

Today we colored ice pops. They all tried to make rocket pops (the tri-colored ones) It was so cute that that is what  they think of first when it comes to ice pops :)

Letter I week -Day 4

Today we colored an iguana! We talked some more about the letter I. We talked about ice and how when it melts it turns into water. And that when the water freezes again it turns back into ice.

Letter I week -Day 3

Today we made ice cream! We took all the ingredients and put them in a small ziplock bag. Then put that bag into a larger bag with salt and ice and then we SHOOK SHOOK SHOOK and danced with the bag! Within a few minutes we had ice cream! We all got to try a spoonful! Yummy!!! 

Letter I week -Day 2

Today we painted with ice. We put drops of paint on our paper that was taped to a cookie sheet...then added some ice and shook the tin to paint our paper! We had so much fun! 

Letter I week -Day 1

Today we started talking about the letter I. I asked them what they would like to color today that started with the letter I...I Scream You Scream We All Scream For Ice Cream! 

Letter H Week- Day 1

Today we started talking about the letter H. We walked around the room to find things that start with the letter H. We found a hair brush, hair, Henry, hippo, hook, and helicopter.  

Then we traced the letter H. 

Don't forget show and tell on Wednesday !
