Numbers

Today we started working on numbers. This week will be the numbers 1-5.

1st we drew one marble in the jar and then colored the number 1 and practiced writing 1.

Then for our project we painted 1 yellow handprint. 

We also added a few new songs to Circle Time. 3 Green and Speckled Frogs and 5 Little Monkeys jumping on the bed. 

Playdoh Fun

We haven't used playdoh in a while...

They played for almost an hour....they wanted the share their favorite sculpture...
Abby made an alligator. 
Brandon made a cow and carrots.

Let Our Fingers do the Walking

The kids let their imaginations take over...we had a flying guy, a silly monster, a rainbow, and of course Mickey Mouse :)

Drawing Class

The kids have found a new passion...drawing on the sliding doors. (Its ok I told them to do it) Nate got window crayons for Christmas and the kids love expressing their artistic sides :)

Don't worry we had a long talk and they all know that these are special crayons and we can only draw on Cheryl's doors :) You might want to get some extra glass cleaner just in case :)

Spring Break

We are on Spring Break this week. (No work for the kids) They are enjoying the extra play time and even went on a train ride to see Mickey. (Set up foam squares and each took a seat on a square :)  

Since the weather is finally getting warmer...pls make sure I have extra clothes so we can go out and play :) (and they can get dirty)

They had a blast finding all the eggs The Easter Bunny had hidden in the front yard!

Konnecting

I thought I would start a blog so that everyone can get a little glimpse into what our days are like here :) I will try to do a daily update at naptime. I will do my best to add some video or pictures at least weekly :)
