Rectangles

Today we talked about rectangles! The kids had a blast looking around the room for all the different things that are shaped like rectangles! They found the back doors, turtle tank, tables, kitchen doors, trains, credit cards etc.

Colby shared a dollar bill (or a Washington as Nate told everyone LOL)

Zachary shared a Diego playing card.
Nathan shared a Scooby Doo movie.

Alexa shared a building block.
Brandon share a train.
They are all doing a great job with shape recognition. Their coloring is really starting to improve too!!

Squares

Today we talked about things that are square! We talked about cd cases, blankets, signs, tissues, books, etc. 

Brandon shared his green square blanket!

Circles

Today started shape week! Today we talked about circles! There were so many things mentioned...pizza pie, balls, plates, bowls, and of course Mickey Mouse! (3 circles to make ears and head lol)

The kids are doing a really great job on their work!

Yellow Day

Today was yellow day. The kids had lots of fun sharing big bird, blocks, fake ice cream and a truck. 

We also colored Big Bird! 

Sorry there is no pictures today..but the camera is packed  up for vacation :0 

Green Day

Today we talked about all things green. Leaves, grass, green beans, peas, lettuce, frogs and turtles. At circle time we shared all our special green things!

Blue

Today was the color blue. Everyone had a blast sharing their color blue item for show and tell! 

We colored Cookie Monster blue today.

Color Week

Today we talked about the color RED. They all did a great job singing the rainbow song at circle time! And had a blast showing off their red item for show and tell!

Then we colored elmo red.
