Luau Week Day 1

This week's theme is Luau! The kids had a blast singing our Luau song:

I'm a little Hawaiian child,

Look at me,

Living on an island in the sea.

I like to dive and I like to swim.

The fish and the seastars are my friends.

I'm a little Hawaiian child,

Look at me,

Climbing to the top of a coconut tree.

I'll pick a coconut to share with you,

Kiwi, bananas and pineapple, too.

Look at me,

Dancing the hula, one, two, three.

"Aloha" means hello and goodbye, too

So now I'll say "Aloha, aloha" to you.

We painted our grass skirts green. We will be wearing them Thursday for our Hawaiian dance party! 

Today is too hot outside. So we will be watching a movie about the kids of Hawaii in the afternoon!
