Five Senses Week- Touch

Today we talked about touch. We touch different things to see how they would feel. Cotton, shells, sand paper, foil etc. Then they closed their eyes and tried to guess what they were touching. 

We traced our hands and colored them in.

Five Senses Week- Smell

Today we talked about smell.  We talked about things that smell good and things that smell bad. We also played a game where we had to close our eyes and guess the smell. They did pretty good. 

Then we colored a nose :>)

Five Senses Week- Hearing

Today we started talking about our 5 senses. We talked about hearing. We played a game where we had to listen to different sounds and figure out what they were.  Then we talked about what people do if they can't hear. We learned a few signs. Please, thank you, more, mom and dad. Ask them if they can show you :)

Then we colored a big ear :)

Pirate Week Day 5 - Treasure Hunt

Today we went on a treasure hunt.  We had to follow the clues.

Pirate Week Day 4- Pirate Shirts and Dress up

Today we talked about the different things different pirates wear. We painted a pirate ship and we played pirate dress up. 



The boys were the only ones in pirate shirts today (and totally understandable he he :) 
But the girls had a blast joining in on the pirate dress up fun! They will all be singing "Yo Ho Yo Ho" for days to come! LOL!
