Today we talked about the compass. We learned a poem all about them.
How do we know
Which way to go?
Look at the magnet
and it will show.
North, south, east or west
For finding directions its the best.
How does it work?
Its as simple as can be.
The planets's biggest magnet is itself, you see.
So the next time your lost
without a clue,
Let a magnet find a way
to rescue you.
Then we colored a compass and a bear pirate.
